Import from Training

Migrate Training documents to Help Center

The Migration Wizard lets you convert existing Training documents into Help Center articles. Use it when you're new to Help Center and already have content in Training.

When to Migrate

  • You're enabling Help Center for the first time
  • You have existing documents, FAQs, or website content in Training
  • You want a single migration rather than re-creating content

Migration Wizard

  1. Go to My Help Center
  2. Click Import from Training
  3. Follow the wizard steps

Modes

Full Automatic

  • AI creates a migration plan for all selected content
  • Plan maps documents to sections and suggests article structure
  • Review and approve before migration runs

Manual

  • Select specific documents to migrate
  • Choose target section for each
  • Migrate one at a time with full control

Steps

  1. Select Content - Choose documents, FAQs, or website pages
  2. AI Content Plan - Review suggested structure (if using auto mode)
  3. Review & Edit - Adjust section placement, merge/split as needed
  4. Run Migration - Start the migration job
  5. Monitor - Check status; articles appear as they complete

Migration Job Status

  • Pending - Queued
  • In Progress - Being processed
  • Completed - Article created
  • Failed - Error; retry or migrate manually

Archive Originals

Optionally archive Training documents after migration to avoid duplication. Archive does not delete - you can restore if needed.

Troubleshooting

Migration Stuck

  • Refresh the page
  • Check for large documents (may take longer)
  • Cancel and retry with smaller batches

Content Not Appearing

  • Ensure target section exists
  • Check article status (may be draft)
  • Verify no permission issues

Partial Migration

If some items fail, you can re-run for just those items or migrate them manually.
